Land Reforms

Land reform is an unfinished task in India. People’s Initiative extends solidarity to all social organizations and individuals who are committed to ensure justice to millions who have no direct access to land and resources.

Our campaign demand

• Setting up of national land authority, which would make recommendations on land reforms
• Setting up of a national tribunal to settle thousands of land related cases
• Addressing the issue of farmers who were thrown out of their land in the name of development
• Addressing the living standards of migrant labours who have flocked to metros and urban centers for a livelihood.
